Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He became a full-time dedicated member of ISKCON Bangalore in 1984 and has conceived various spiritual, cultural, and social development programs in the service of humanity. He led the creation of Little Krishna, a world-class animation series on the childhood pastimes of Krishna. He is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of The Akshaya Patra Foundation and directs the strategy, growth, and governance of the organisation. The organisation has immensely benefitted from his contributions to addressing classroom hunger nationwide. He has been actively involved in policy planning and implementation, areas related to operations, public affairs, programme management and emergency food relief activities. He is also known for his exceptional communication skills.
He is the President of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, a unique cultural heritage tourism infrastructure project poised to become the tallest temple of Lord Krishna in the world. This magnificent complex will become a symbol of Indian culture and heritage and play a significant role in shaping the future of our nation through various initiatives.
His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the Hare Krishna Movement, has been the inspiration and guiding light of Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa.
Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa came across the teachings of Srila Prabhupada while pursuing his studies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science and became interested in his mission. As he gained a deeper understanding of Srila Prabhupada’s philosophy and ideals, he dedicated himself fully to the Krishna consciousness movement. Thus, he joined ISKCON Bangalore in 1984 and has been working tirelessly for the betterment of humanity since then.
